Nope. No solid answers yet. but to help you all out, do the following until it is fixed:
-Do -not- reply to thread in the "Last Post" section if it is labelled as more than a day or so ago.
-However, -do- go right to the actual forum section. In example, "The Tavern", "Popular Media" and so on.
-The actual forum sections more or less have a decent timeline for last posted, although it is off a little bit. You should be able to carry on normally from there.

Ok, thanks! I'll make sure to do that until we find out what exactly is wrong.

Hmm its gone a little better for me but it still doesn't say who the last post in the topic was.

i do find it has been switching back and forth between normal times and 5 weeks to a few years ago threads appearing there... but i havent seen a 13 year-er ina while (or whatever date it was) they are getting shorter for me if that means anything! though still quite frequent
