Hello theone99 here telling you about a little idea that popped up in my head.
People have been getting annoyed since they have to go message friends in there clan about an update or something. Well here is my take on it.
1.You can only send 1-7 comments at a time, only give you a tally of 2 AP, also they would have to make another commenting tally where the AP, merits, games submitted and others are at. 2.You will have to wait 2 minutes before making another comment, including regular AND mass sending comments.
it is a shaky rough idea yes i know, but maybe we could get some brain help in here.
I think he is talking about sending messages to multiple recipients. He also wants comments to be limited to every 120 seconds, instead of the 30 second wait. AG really needs a private mail system to go with the "ublic" Messenger.
This is only an issue with clubs. Basically you could just get the aim/msn of those people, and send an offline message. It might prevent AP gain for multiple comments, but it will be rather hard to implement into the site, and is only relevant for people in clubs.
um Cenere I don't think you realize but not everyone uses AIM/MSN. I myself don't use any IM's or chatbox type things outside of the XAT for drawing stuff. You have to realize that not everyone likes using those, and so that probably wouldn't always work.
Also this could have other uses, such as notifying friends that you will be gone for a little while, seeing as how not everyone seems to know how to read an about, or just being lazy and wanting to start a conversation with 7 people at once. The system he created is pretty nice if you ask me. It would prevent spamming, also prevents people from posting on the whole top 100 all at once asking them to be your friend, then it keeps the AP at a minimum. I like it, but I'm sure someone will find another reason why it should not be used.
yes... and i think one way of eliminating people using that system to flood other people's profiles with spam is that you could only send to users who are on your friends list (and you are on theirs too)...though the more i think about it the more this seems like a small add-on to a pm service, which is already being considered as far as i can gather... then again, these would be public messages so it is a slightly different matter! but yes, frinds list.. thats my suggestion!

I dont quite agreee with the idea. I mean what if you are sending comments to a lot of people. If we go by your idea, we could only send comments to 7 and also have to wait 2 minutes for everytime. That would take a lot of time and effort which could distress people from sending updates news to others.
