I have already posted this issue on the Flash Games - "Gemcraft 0 finally out" thread, but thought it should go in the Support thread.
Gemcraft 0 will load, but when I click play, I get a black screen. I can hear the armorgames logo swords, but no picture.
I was able to get the game to load twice and I got through the tutorial and saw the screen for the first battle. I saw the normal graphics, but no houses. I placed a tower along the path and both houses appeared. My mana rose, I could create gems, build traps, and adjust the speed, but I did not have any sliders on the left side and no monsters came. After gaining 1500 mana and nothing happening, I quit. I haven't gotten to this screen again.
I played Gemcraft, and can open and play every game on the armorgames.com front page. I have upgraded Flash, Shockwave, and Java to the newest version.
I mentioned this yesterday and firetail told me to submit a bug report. I do not know who to send it to though. Gameinabottle? If so, how? I have played here since the site started, but this is the only time I have joined and posted so I don't know how it works when you have an issue. I have read all the rules and help section and can't find exactly how to address the issue. TIA

What you could've done was to submit this report in a Contact form, where you just send what's wrong, and they will "hopefully" get back to you. The admins have ways to contact the game developer, or the company that made the game, so they could fix it.
I can tell you though, it can't be everybody, it MUST be you. My game of Gemcraft 0 works perfectly.
I have restarted, cleaned cache, cookies, uninstalled and reloaded Flash. I have heard of at least 4 people that have the same problem. It's not just me. Anyone else on a mac? I am running G4 powermac, with plenty of RAM.
Eh, work and school computers... who needs them ; only great for internet browsing, that's it... what's wrong with it, I have no clue, but at least for your PC, you know what's in it, and how to fix it (at least for me, I make sure I know how to fix it so I don't have to call my brother).
hmm it is weird for something like this to happen. My computer runs the game great, but for it to not work right for a computer that has an up to date computer with flash player 10...although did you say you have a Mac?
Update: i just manualy deleted Flashplayer9 and 10 (seems both where on this system) and reinstalled Flashplayer 10.0.22.87 Though the deletion of Fp9 gave me an error it seems it was deleted :S.
Ill try to find a solution and keep this updated if i make any progress.
Thank you Septua, please let me know. I uninstalled Fp10 and reinstalled a few hours ago, but it's still not working for me. I sent a message to the Contact mentioned by Shin and am awaiting a response.
Hmm I would suggest testing it on other sites, but I think as of right now it is still exclusive to AG. So I am not sure how else to help you out. I mean you can't even play it on gameinabottle's website. It just gives you a link to the page on AG.
Update: Deleted both and reinstalled both (9 auto reinstalls via work auto update network) After that i restarted the computer. Still no luck.
Gemcraft chap0 is also on towerdefence.net and i cannot play it there eighter. Seems im getting more problems with games here lately few other new games (that where just released) dont start or work like they should. (for expl: days2die will start and seems functioning can start levels but stuff ect however im unable to click the start level button O.o)
Come to think about it when gemcraft chap1 was first released i couldnt play it on AG but i could play it on towerdefence, after updates i could play it on AG aswell.
"cookies" are things that track you like Game Progress
as a last resort you could try completely wiping your computer and reinstall everything
it seems like it works but your computer can't comprehend it... try updating java or check for updates on your computer? thatd be the first thing i'd do after checking flash
I normally use Safari, and that's what I played Gemcraft on. Last night I upgraded Firefox from 3.07 to 3.08 and got it to work. I still had the same issues with the map and no sliders on the left side. I had to change my options on quality to high for rendering and vfx and sliders and houses popped up. I upped my mana pool once and started the first 2 sliders. It took 10 minutes to kill the monsters in the first 2 waves (even after lowering the quality to medium and low). I can't play like that. Safari ran the first game just fine and there is no way I can sit through waves that lag like that. I will wait for it to be placed on other sites and maybe that will solve the issue.
I enjoyed Gemcraft very much, but this new game isn't worth wiping my computer and starting over. Would take way to long to back everything up, reinstall, etc. Thanks for the advice though.
