So, a few days ago I went to a concert as part of the Music As A Weapon IV tour. It included Disturbed, Lacuna Coil, Killswitch Engage, and Chimaira. It was great show because the acoustics in the stadium were great, and Disturbed and Lacuna Coil both had great vocals and Guitar playing. I just wanted to see what other people thought of as the best concert they've been to.
If you decide to post here, please explain why you thought it was so good, because otherwise it's useless information.
The O2 wireless festival I think 2006. Great show the first concert I went to. The Zutons were ok as were the Flaming lips and super furry animals but the headliners were The Who and they are still great live it was unbelievable
Frick, I haven't been to a concert in forever, but I am going to see AC/DC on August 26 at the Commonwealth Stadium up her in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! So friggin' excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bit of a toss up. Saw Muse play at the KeyArena in Seattle a couple years back; the following year I saw Jarvis Cocker play at the commodore ballroom - smaller venue, but very cool - wicked showmanship.
I think I'd have to settle on watching Amon Tobin run a set in the commodore though. They brought out speakers and put a massive monolith of a sub in the middle of the floor. Amon Tobin in 5.1. Awesome.
I haven't been to a whole lot of concerts, but I saw this revival of Beatlemania, and the musicians sounded exactly like the Beatles, and they played all of their best songs. It was really cool to see the solo on 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps!'
Hmm....it's between Metallica's Kick off World Tour simply awesome because they played Master Of Puppets or when I watched AC/DC's Black Ice Tour last year. Both were awesome!
Last chance summer dance. They didn't play metal, my favorite style of music, but they had smash mouth and Billy idol and others there. It was pretty good really
