I've noticed lately that the forums aren't as active and alive as they used to be. There's less people posting in here and less frequently as well. There are of course the forum regulars still posting, and the occasional new person starting his path towards being a forum regular, but that's about it. Anyone else notice it? And for those people who have noticed it, why do you think it's happening?

I only just started here a little while ago, but in the beginning I did notice how quickly the topics on the first pages of various forums filled up or were pushed down. You're definitely right, recently it's been a bit depressing with the weak posts and lack of variety.

You don't suppose *shudders* people are moving on do you?

nah, no way.

No, I don't think they're moving on. I actually thought of one possible explanation. A lot of people I've talked to are on vacation, and I'm guessing some people aren't getting on during their vacation.

Who needs a vacation when you could visit AG? Sometimes I wish I could put AG on a sandwich with some turkey, salami, and provolone.

So who in particular appears to be missing anyway?

Yes, I have noticed that the number of new posts has been reclining recently. I am also on vacation, but I am utilizing most of the excess time to have more discussions on AG. Others are on vacation somewhere away from their home, while others simply choose to do something else with their time. I thoroughly enjoy conversation, so I choose mainly AG.

Yeah, I feel left out. I'm not on vacation, it's just a weekend to me. It's good that you chose to spend some time on here, Lufffi, even if you're not on all the time. You might be, though. I don't know. It is fun to have conversations with people, and that's why I'm still active on here.

Well that's good. I hope you make good contributions in the forums when necessary and have fun, too. It doesn't have to be all serious in the forums. Just look at the Arts section. There's nothing serious going on there. :P

That reminds me, I need to check if a winner has been declared for the art competition this week!

Back on topic now. Actually when I said that I wasn't on AG all the time, the reason why I couldn't be on was because of basic needs (eating/sleeping) and my family's other plans. -.-

Hey, I never said it was bad that you're not on all the time. I didn't even mean to say it like that. I said I don't know if you're on all the time. It's not like you can live here on AG.

-looks at row of tents-

Um, nevermind... >_>

Well Dragon, that is how it is always. It's just this era of AG has less regulars.

Well that's kind of weird. You'd think after AG updating so much and getting better games, there would be more regulars. Just last month I saw threads being posted in constantly except for times around 11 pm - 5 am AG time. Now, sometimes the latest comment was "56 minutes ago" or times like that. It's almost depressing.

-goes and sits in some random AG camper's tent-

"This is my house, now!"
"But, it's a tent..."
"Shut up!"

Wait, why would a AGer be camping outside his house?

Noo.. Obviously you didn't see this part of my comment.

Then I continued talking about it.

"Where's the tv?"
"It's just a tent..."
"So? Get me a tv!"

I'd say activity is more or less cyclic. Whenever a big game comes out, though, that's when people tend to come. When Gemcraft came out, there were quite a few new people. When Sonny 2 came out, quite a few joined. I guess you can say we are in a "depression" of sorts.
