i can no longer see thumbnails of people's armatars when i look at comments on my profile or under games, is this an update that i have just not heard about or is it something i should be reporting?
secondly, i have lost the ability to vote up, well anything, in the forums, under games, the little symbol just isnt there any more! again, is this an update or what?

there are a lot of updates going on lately because of the optimization. AG has and for a while may at times still run extremely slow at times because of lag, and so developer(or developers if Shpigford is still coding the site as well) are trying to fix this by changing a whole bunch of stuff in the site.
I thought that the Armatars disappearing from the comments was an update..turns out I am wrong? As for the voting up, I never vote up. I have flagged perhaps 30 comments/posts, and maybe deleted 5 off my profile, but never voted up. I guess I didn't really notice it until now. And yes, as crimsonblade said, the site is undergoing changes to reduce the lag, but other problems are turning up in the process.
Wait, having a thumbnail problem? Why is that a problem? All it does is show the armatar when you post a comment on a profile. I am happy this is gone since it really doesn't do anything. You can see a user's new armatar on forum posts or if you just go to their profile.
If you people had looked more closely and asked around, you would have found the answer from Carlie. I just went through five sides of the support and suggestion and didn't find the thread, but I remember that Carlie had given a list of things that had disappeared:
The trash can The Recent activity list(At the bottom of the community page) The comments thumbnails. Voting
And one more I can't remember. The reason they were taken down was because of the optimization of the website. They may in the future come bak, but not now with the updating.

It is sort of an update: But only(Hopefully) temporary. The options may return in the future.
I've started having the thumbnail problem. It's actually quite annoying.
Why is it annoying? I know it gives people less depth in their posts, but otherwise it is sort of old fashion. And the thumbnail problem has been around for weeks, not recently.
Both of these features have been temporarily removed in the process of site optimization. They should be back when they get everything fixed and the site running quickly.
Well I didn't even realise it. Thanks anyway, hope the problem is solved after site optimization. And I want the list back =(. Are the developers coping well or is work just midway?
