You know what I really, really hate? your stupid implementation of the 30-second delay between posts. Not because you implemented it, becaseu I can understand that it slows down spam, but in how you implemented it.
If I read all the threads about, for instance, Gemcraft, then is I post one reply on a thread and then open the other thread and spend any amount of time reading the next thread, I'm still locked out from posting unless I reload the thread. It is quite annoying.
I have worked out a neat little workaround that will also work for people wanting to spam your forums. I can open all the Gemcraft threads in new tabs in my browser and then none of them are locked at the bottom and I can respond as I wish.

Nope. Even if you see the post button, you're not able to post before the 30 seconds have passed. If they haven't passed, the post will simply disappear.
And yes, it gets annoying. But since not a lot of threads here on AG are filled with images, the little reload really isn't that much of a problem. The only way I see they could fix this would be by leaving the post button visible at all times, but make you unable to post if the time hadn't passed (most likely giving you an error message).
All you have to do is press reload. It's not that much trouble. I see why it gets annoying, though.
Yes, it does get annoying after long periods of time having to wait, I can relate. But it's good spam prevention, if it weren't there it would be a lot harder job for the mods. Besides, I think it's a good thing. If you were constantly staring and spamming at the computer screen, you might lose your eyesight sooner or later.
I love the feature. It keeps from people spamming people. If you didn't have it people would just click the submit button a 1000 times and get a lot of points.
