Since no one knows for sure how many people are on the forum, I think it would be good for some people to have a "Users Online" box on the bottom of this forum. Good idea?
The search button is desperately needed. Since a lot of threads are duplicates, (Heh, I supposedly just made one in the Forum Games forum, and I just joined!) it'd be convenient to have a search forums option where the Search Armor Games option is.
The mods discourage going past page 2 of any section in the forums, as they are officially dead threads after they reach that point. if there was a search option you could find a thread way back in page 52, and by bringing back what is supposedly a dead thread, it would push down new posts and the mods don't want that.
Orr for the people you have added as friends, there should be some kind of light on the side to tell you if they are online or not, like the light orb next to your name when you visit your own page.

I'd say five pages. If it's further than five pages back, it's probably pretty dead. (Actually the 'last posted' shouldn't be newer than two weeks, otherwise it's somewhat dead.)
Also, that's not the exact reason for why the search was removed. It was being too glitchy...

Funnily enough we had this. If you've just barely joined you probably missed it, as it was taken away because of site optimization. I kinda hope it returns when possible; just letting you know it was there, though.
