I like The Who the best. Some of the best indivisual musicians in their fields. Townshend is a great writer and the are ridiculously good live. Brilliant songs and to top it off Keith Moon is damn good
My two fav. bands are System of a Down and White Chapel. =] System of a Down because I think they are rather unique and White Chapel because their instrumentals are awesome.

That not nice... they are both basically rap artists....
except Kanye is got the R&B voice synth going for him and Linkin Park has got some guitars and drums.
My favorite Band (defined as a group of people) would have to be Linkin park because it is the closest to rap you can get with a band. But with artists themselves, I would have to go with T.I.
@DDX: Linkin Park is not rap ft. guitar, drums. It is nu metal with some alternative rock. They also employ Joe Hahn, a turntablist for sound mixing and vibes. They were originally called Hybrid Theory, because of the combined vocals of Chester and Mike.
My favorite band is actually Linkin Park. But that's not to say it was an easy decision. This is a wide topic and there are many other threads that are the same. But not right now, I see.
