I have been listening to a lot of them lately, and i think they are an excellent band. I think there best song by a long shot is "Re-education Through Labor". I also like "Hairline Fracture", but all of them are good. (Except "The Dirt Whispered", that song sucks).
They got two hits and like 5 albums. Their two hits are good songs though. Most of their songs are the same. I used to be a huge Rise Against fan but now their music just sucks and gets old.
Jeeeeeeeezzzzzzzz. How many times am I going to have to repeat this? Revolutions Per Minute and The Sufferer & The Witness are the best albums. Appeal to Reason is by far the worst I have heard of any of their music. Any of their older albums are better then AtR, but the two I mentioned stand out the most.

Doesn't mean it's not good music. I find depth and meaning to a lot of their songs that didn't necessarily make it to the top of the charts.

Did I ever say it wasnt't good music, no. I was only stating that they have two hits out of 5 albums or so, and that a lot of their songs are simmalar.
Re-education Through Labor is a rather good song. I especially like the guitar riffs for that song. Although the line 'we are the insects in your ears' is a bit strange. O_O Rise Against is rather like Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine and Killswitch Engage. Not to say that they aren't good, I mean.
My friend showed them to me...and I hope i don't make anyone angry at me here...but I absolutly hate them. In my opinion, they(of the 4 songs I've heard by them) only have one song that's worth listening to more than once: Swing Life Away.
