Link would throw bombs, Ike would cleave open bombs then link. Marth would stab Ike while he is swinging his redicuously huge sword, but it falls on Marth and cleaves him open. Marth dies or being cleaved in half before Ike dies of impalement.
Do you mean this here? If so I dunno why they rate Link so low. I'm no pro, but whenever I play him I pwn, the only exceptions I've ever experienced were Sheik and Fox. Marth is my best char. and there's no exceptions for his awesomeness.
Umm but in terms of they're own game skills. I've never seen Marth's Fire Emblem so I can't judge him. But Ike could probably take Link.

Yep, that's what I meant and that's official. Link is the king of Trash Tier because of his crap recovery. That's about it. He is heavy and falls fast (worse for his recovery) which also means he is easily combo'd. He is good at spacing though, and a good Link can overcome most opponents.
Also, 80% of his matchups are equal or in the opponents favour.

Yeah CPU's are fun to beat up on but that's about it. I've tried my hand at all kinds of opponents. Most commonly it'd be fox/falco/wolf, ness, ganondorf, or mario. Occasionally I'd go up against a Sheik.
I have a collection of friends who are pretty good gamers. A while back though for SSBM I played n a competition at a local college and owned, I used Marth for that though.
I guess some of my friends tried their hand at a "ro" for SSBM for some gaming convention in NYC. Either he was indeed a pro or they each got jacked for 10 bucks. XD Yeah but I guess none of them lost by very much, they did better than the rest of the rabble and actually forced the pro guy to play serious.
I wish I was there, cuz I can usually wipe the floor with these guys who were *almost* winning. I've never played pro before but I bet I could do decent, I got trix ya see?
Oh and although CPU's are crap I'm still pretty proud that I can consistently handle 1 vs.2 matchup against a lvl 8 meta knight and a lvl 8 falco.
So's anyway since you seem to know a thing or two about SSB what characters do you use?
While SSBB is really the only reference that exists that actually pits these three against each other, feel free to be speculative.
Any insight beyond SSBB would probably be more accurate seeing as how in that particular game, no character is in his/her own element and all of them have for the most part been nerfed down/beefed up to fit the scenario.
