Just a small sugggestion here...perhaps there can be a central AG clock (aligned to DM's bedroom clock?) so that it would be more centralised, contests deadlines can be finetuned, people will know when exactly their friends get online etc.

There is a - central AG time. The time besides the "Posted -date- at -time-" is +6 hours from where I am. And since the time is not customized, that is the central AG time.
Does it matter? Last time suggested this, I had an answer like this:
There is a "osted x amount of time ago" area, so you know when of was posted in. Also, don't all computers have clocks, along with iPods and such?"
As far as the contests go, almost none of them have an exact timed deadline. Most of them go by date. If otherwise, it's stated along with what time zone it's in.
But wouldnt it be better if the time limit was the same everywhere
The entire site has the same time. Every "Posted at" goes by AG time. And if you try and pressure judges to have a deadline on the hour, you are killing the judges off fast. People usually get a feeling of when the judges are on, or the judge decide to post a "Judging in progress" on the thread. We already got this. The time is the same all over the site. The time does not get customized to suit your timezone.
Excuse me, but what is your post???? It is completely off topic and exceedingly long. it better be deleted.

he's right, haven't you noticed?
...what? Time limit? *confuzzled face*
i think he means the time zones. I know it may seem weird to you why they are all different, but let me explain:
Say it is 3o'clock in the USA. In Germany, it is straight in the night. it looks anything BUT 3o'clock. Does this make sense to you? That's why there are different time zones for every big chink of latitude(I think.). Every country is a bit different.
@Ulimited: Closed comments because I dun wanna look for comments. So taking a little break from it.
Anyway, made one like this one before, but could not find it: I think it is more or less right, but there is a nice chance of me getting it wrong. Anyway, the 0 (in red) is AG time, and from there, it should be possible to calculate your time.
