Wouldn't be nice if there was something like a messenger to messenger comment thing? where you could see your comments between 2 people and those two people only, that way it would be easier to keep track of conversations.
For example, lets pretend Carlie and I were besties and we talk all the time, but Carlie is really popular and people bury my posts, or she forgets what we were talking about because she is really busy. She could click on a button to only display posts I put on here messenger and posts that she put on mine. Effectively allowing you to view the entire line of the conversation.

Here is my suggestion: On Firefox, go to Edit and click on Find. Use it to find the comments of users you want to talk to in your all comments. I use it all the time, and it works quite well. It conserves server space, time for coding, less glitches and is just as effective.

Thing is, it would need more coding in the site, and it would mean more traffic on the server. I say it is a great idea, and maybe after the optimization, but at the moment, no.

More coding? Traffic? C'mon.... EVERYTHING takes more coding.... traffic deals with more along the lines of information being passed between servers and clients. This messenger would do nothing of the sort, it's just there. Yes, it would take a smidgen of memory, but everything does.
Oh, and Pazx, it's not just Cenere, it's me. That's basically what everyone says to shoot down an idea. It kinda gets me sad when they say things like that.
That would be useful, but I think that for most people buried comments are not much of a problem. It would probably not be worth the effort of the developers.
This is a good idea. Because i usually forget what we are talking about. Then i have to go all the way back looking for the last comments he/she posted.. It's also a good idea because yes, somtimes people bury my posts..
I think thats a good idea.. but you would have to ask a mod. And yeah sometimes that happens to me.. it gets covered and people ask me why i dont respond back or i either waste my time asking them what we were talking about lol
Heheh someones lovin la carlie. That would be cool but it seriously isn't a major issue that affects everyone on the site ,just the people who comment a lot to each others friends n' such.
