I know François-Marie Arouet, who was know as Voltaire. He was a French enlightenment writer. I have not really heard of the musician Voltaire.
He took his name from the writer. simply a goth comedian/musician.

I prefer Francois-Marie but the eeerrr... new guy has an odd style, not bad, strange singing voice. Not very funny but perhaps I listened to the wrong one eh.
