When you think about it, posting a game that you happen to like to your facebook/myspace/etc. we're really advertising and helping the site grow. So i think we should get a bit of points for it.

Any thoughts?

It's a nice idea, but people could abuse it very easily.

That would be so abuseable it's not funny. Really. If the referrals were abused and taken off, this will be abused. It is a nice idea, but there isn't really a way it could work, unless each person registered which account on myspace was theirs, and advertised it there or something... Actually, it might work because you can only do it with a certain account?

Eh...

Well, then I can make ten different accounts, post 10 games on each and get an easy 100 AP ( or more, depending on the system if it exists). So no....we shouldn't get points from it. Too much abusing. And how will it look like on your profile.

Would totally end up being too complicated. I mean if the up arrows were turned off cuz they slowed things down...

Well, I don't know about this. It sounds to complicating and doesn't really fit in with the other "AP getting" options. Also wouldn't it be hard to track down wherever you posted at?

Actually it be kinda simple.

Because you can add it to the site from your own code.

Like a certain code maybe that links to your profile only. And that code would link back to one of the game you ave favorited.

I think it be an idea that should be put into a beta kinda terms. You really need to create the system yourself and post on it.

before trying anything look at the terms and conditions for copyright policy

Like a certain code maybe that links to your profile only
and 180k strings of that code would be useless cause of ghost accounts

Because you can add it to the site from your own code

you could also add it 100 times to a page

the only way this would work would be if a staff member went to your site and advertised it, and i just don't see that happening

Piece of advice: before suggesting something look at how an idiot would use it, how it would be abused, and how hard it would be to code

This can work in so many ways and if you've done advertising or whatever anyway anyhow this can strengthen the community and give points to people who would really like some.

Post a link. It should not be that much of a hassle for a person to make one click.

how would you stop from that link being copied over and over?

be a pessimist, look at what could all go wrong before seeing what could go right
