yeah basically what Cenere said, and since you can not post any images on your about, then there is nothing really that would need to be deleted immediately that the mods cannot warn the person to take off their about, except maybe links to innapropriate sites....hmm who knows, as of right now though I have not seen too many people post innapropriate things on their abouts, and many of the people who post that stuff in the forums get banned pretty quickly after wards.
actually i dont think they should be given so much power because that would give them tons of more extra work and also it might turn out to be a little too much power. There should be more moderatores instead.
Nah, they have as much power as they need to keep us on our toes. If they can start changing profiles well...it's not really fair.
I have an idea how it would help: They could write "this profile is believed to be a ghost account. Don't write here." that would be great. And I personally think that mods already have lots of power, and an About changing feature is not exactly anything special.

Mods are handpicked(unless they are chosen by that wheel of theirs) and there aren't many because the requirements are very high and they must really be good users.
