Spore is incomplete. By space stage it is boring. I only like teh Civ stage and teh editors. I'm barely satisfied.

Spore is a sandbox type games lovers wet dream. The customization of your race is nearly endless with a very vivid creature creator. However the game reaches its end (space mode) fairly quickly, but this is barely a set back as it offers many different play styles and almost endless creation of buildings, vehicles, and creatures.

In the future you should avoid answering posts like this, it's spam and flame and doubly against the rules because of that. Instead just use the little flag icon in the right end of the offender's post.

Spore is a half decent game. Like panzerkin said, it's mostly about customization. It's not a novel idea, but I don't think it was a great idea to base a game around it.

Its awesome. When you get stuff from space it is fun. Killing the epics in civ is basically is godzilla except you determine how it goes

I'll admit, Spore is fun. Up until Space.

It's liek you spent your high school and college trying many fun jobs only to find the only jobs left in the job market are Army and Babysitter...

I think it's good. Some people think/say space is boring because it's either hard to get more planets, and then its hard to keep track of them. You just need a bunch of allies, it saves your energy by ALOT because youre not using your weak laser beam, and they have these cannonball-like shots.

I think it's a ghost of what it was meant to be. Their stupid "dumbing down" of the game to "appeal to a wider audience" removed 2 stages, a whole bunch of game mechanics, and perhaps even the ability to bend space time. Sure, Spore is good...when you first try it. After a making it to space stage once or twice and getting some achievements, the game just takes too much of doing the same thing to complete.

Dang corporates, stripping the game of some of it's best parts and forcing us to buy them in expansion packs.

I found Spore fun for awhile, but after playing for an afternoon and already finding myself in the space age seemed wrong. It feels like the early stages are just filler stages till you get to space, which is where most of your time will be wasted (that is, if you choose to not go on).

I had high hopes for spore, and they were definately not met. It was uninstalled after my second time through, and I never plan on reinstalling it.

This is a compile of my opinions about all the stages.

Cell - It was really easy, not much design you can do besides bone size and placement, not 3D design yet. At the begining it depeneds on what mode your playing the game on, on very hard, things own you, on very easy, you own things, eat dead cells, or feast of some growth. Near the end, you can dodge anything, own anything, and it becomes boring.

Creature - Very much design you can do on your creature, placement, how much joints, size of bone, how much bone, how long, how big, it was very entertaining. You get brain size by be-friending, or digesting them, or both. Be-friending wasn't the best, because other people always made their creature the creature with the best singing and dancing to be-friend people in their game, making it hard for you to be-friend their creatures. Destorying them, same thing as be-friending except eating. And the epics seemed to come at random, you kill this and you get a really big boost.

Tribal - You can do lots of things, paint, puting rings, hats and other props on. This stage, also depends on what difficulty you are on, on very easy, I killed an enemy's cheiftan with one person, and half their tribe..on very hard, my people didn't stand a chance.

Civilization - Designing your car and plane, house, factory, fun place, it was all really great! If you are allied with someone, and you remain allies until every other civilization is dead, you win. That's what happened to me, twice. And spice becomes the worlds trade/happiness.

Space - It was a very intruiging, designing my own ship, with the map, the inter-stellar drives, the limit you can travel, the energy, your health, the weapons, the 3-D, the planet fighters, the rays, though the story-line of the grox and the center of the universe.

Evolution - If you come out of the Cell stage an herbivore, then in creature stage, agressive, tribal be-friending, civilization domination, in space, the evolution will give you something cool. If you don't like it, you can change it for like 500,000 spore-bucks.

Over-all, it was a great game, I finished it and all. My favorite stage has to be the creature stage.

Yeah, Spore is fun until the Space stage, but I've been to the center of the galaxy and it gives me "The staff of Life" which has 40 charges, you fire it on a planet, and it has Terraform score 3. Amazing huh?
