Ok, name your favorite president and why, maybe say like your favorite quote from the president.

Heres mine: Teddy Roosevelt. I love Teddy. He was a great president. He felt that he should do pollitical good for the people of america, not for his party. He was neither Republican or democrat. One of his quotes is "use a soft voice but a big stick." (dont take that the wrong way.

Clinton for sure.

Listen Clinton was a lucky man. He wasn't a great president. He was lucky. During his term nothing was realy going on with the world that was horrible. He also had a great congress.

yea well he got the results, he was the one of the few new age presidents to have gotten a surplus of 124Billion dollars. TBH, the bush administration blew through that in the first year. Clinton was truly a good president, and if you cannot see that, go back and learn some history.

*Sigh*

If you REALLY want to be smacked upside the head in a debate on that, start it off on my messenger.

You are so right on so many levels its not even funny.

it takes a very smart man to become president expecially for two terms.

Reagan was a mixed bag. He did some good things, but two really bad things: closing all of the asylums, and removing regulations on hiring semi-truck drivers. Both of those deregulations have caused a good deal of deaths. The rest of what he did wasn't so bad though.

Classic picks, like Lincoln, Kennedy, FDR, Washington, etc. though Clinton did a pretty good job for the reasons DDX stated above, and Gerald Ford wasn't too bad.

FDR,

just so you know, FDR did not save our economy. His plan "The New Deal" never succeded. What saved our economy was the war. It provided tons of jobs for people, like the women working in the factories to make ammunition for the war. Thats what got our economy going again.

Reagan was a tool, starting in the earlier parts of his term. Doctors have gone back and analyzed tapes of him speaking, and looked through descriptions of his every day behavior. The man had First Stage Alzheimer's, meaning he was slightly confused, disoriented, and generally had some memory problems.

How can a man like that run a nation? Easy-other people do it for him.

Alright then it was Andrew Johnson who succeeded him. I personally think he had something to do with Lincoln's Assassination since he was a Southerner and all.

right booth wasn't planning to kill just Lincoln he and 2 others planned on killing Lincoln, Johnson and secretary of state Seward the only reason Johnson didn't die was because one of the conspirators got wasted and wandered the streets instead of killing him and the whole southerner thing is stupid Lincoln was from kentucky which is the south also Johnson publicly supported the hanging of confederates
