I use Windows XP and Vista, both are great systems
uhhh no. You are absolutely wrong there. -.- I'm sorry but it's true, I have spent hundreds of dollars just trying to fix my XP. I shudder to think of how long and how much money it would take to even begin to fix the epic major disaster fail full of glitches and mistakes covered up by good graphics that is Vista.
The only problem with Macs is that many great games can only be played on PC's; maybe one or two of my vast collection of CD-ROM games I got from yard sales actually work on Macs
. Linux has wine (windows emulator) and I think there might be a similar program for the mac computers.
We are talking about the operation system, not the hardware itself.
@escartian
Wine is an emulator and thus, is not good as Windows when running programs designed for Windows. I've heard Wine is good but it would be much more convenient using Windows to play games.
Mac users can avail of Boot Camp. You can use Windows and Mac in the same Mac computer.

That is obvious but it is better then having to use two different computers only to be able to use more cds. Wine can play quite a few of the new cd games. Wine can also be changed to be able to play certain cds it can not play...
