You know how schools are supposed to be for education, right? Well, not every stuff you learn in school is brand-new. What were some of the most useless and stupid things you have learned in class?

English isn't a total waste Drace, only half of it is!

A language you'll never use... That's a total waste.

Algrebra. I hate it, I'm never going to use algrebra. Correction, the only tim I'll use Algrebra is when my 12 year old son says:

"Hey dad, can you help me with my Algebra?"

*Dad jumps out the window and goes to Vegas*

Well i like to learn a bit of everything because you never know when you will get caught in a debate or arguement of some kind and not know what they are saying or how to prove your point

Nothing anyone learns is useless thats why we learn it sometimes if you dont learn how to do something then you will be caught in a situation that you dont know how to do something and you fail at whatever it is your doing

Tessellations. Absolutely useless, unless you're going to be a 2nd grade math teacher.

It doesn't generally have to be from school, it could be from anyone. And useless things you find useless currently.

According to Richard riley (dunno who he is) the top 10 in-demand jobs in 2010 won;t have existed in 2004. Teachers preparing students for jobs that don;t exist yet. Using stuff that haven't been thought of. And fixing problems that areb't problems. A survey of UK school schildren showed 98% wanted to succeed at school but only 38% looked forward to going. The amount of technical info is doubling every 2 years. so if you started a 4 year degree (in technology) half of what you learnt in the first year will be outdated by your third. At the end of the day everything we learn is useless cos we're gonna die.
