Well unlike most of the population i buy most music off itunes instead of dl them off of lime wire... I appreciated there being a way to buy music for a pretty cheap price with out having to leave my house, and not having to dl stuff illegally. So i was kinda thankful of itunes. But now its kinda starting to piss me off. I go to there store, and it's like they've gone over all great songs from the past and increased them from 99c to $1.29. Now it doesn't seem like much, but i try to make myself only spend 10$ every month on music from itunes, and its decreasing from 10 songs to 6 or 7.. Now im just wondering, do you think that they are ripping us off for songs?
Personally I don't use iTunes, mainly because I have not yet decided on buying an iPod, but instead i buy cds from my local music store, which has good deals (i can pick up classical and the less popular stuff for like $3 a cd with like 12 songs on it), however on the more popular stuff I will end up paying $10-15 on a cd. In addition to cds i use Pandora radio, such a great thing for free.
yea ive nvr had any of my ipods break easily either.. And im pretty careless at times... The only way to break one of these suckers is to be completely not caring about them.. Which goes to show just how bad most of the world is at keeping there things in care.. I even have one of those ipod nano videos... I heard they break the most... I also had an ipod shuffle... The old school kind.. You can pretty much whip one of those at sumones head and it'll still be in perfect condition lol
The prices being raised was pretty stupid. But as was mentioned earlier, limewire isn't too bad to use for getting music. And DarkLadyRaven, I used to hate limewire because of all the filth that came up. They released a new version of it with a new layout and such, and the searches have A LOT less filth come up. Virtually nothing.
I have an iPod touch, and it's very sturdy. it was launched across a band room, racked up about ten feet of air, stuck the landing on the linoleum floor, and came away without a scratch. Twice.

I used to have a 2nd gen. iPod nano and that thing lasted forever, but then I gave it to my friend because I got a new 4th gen. iPod nano. It's really good quality and I've had it for a few months now, the only thing that sucks about them is the sucky headphones they come with.
And kareybh I can't upload a new version of LimeWire on my comp. because I'm not an admin on it. Stupid parents... *Grumbles under her breath* Otherwise I would. That way I'd save me mum a lot of money.

If a company doesn't make a product I like at a price I like, I wind up going to a competitor. I don't believe in customer loyalty, but a lot of people who buy apple products seem a little... obsessed with the company.
