Forum Posts (like the one you just did) are worth one AP, and go to your post count.

Game/profile comments are worth two AP, and are when you comment on someone's page or a game.

Rating a game gives two AP. To rate a game go to it's page, and above the comment box there should be a green bar and a black bar. Click on the black bar where you want to rate the game.

To get a merit, you have to write a very constructive, helpful, and with good grammar game comment. Think of it as a reward, not something to try for. They are worth 25 AP.

To submit a game, go to the submit game and upload A GAME THAT YOUR CREATED. That is worth 20 AP.

It's not the currency here. Nothing is exchanged by using AP.

Armor Points are just points. Points in the AG point system.

To add to what k34 said, things are unlocked by gaining AP, but there is no exchange. That doesn't make it currency
