i used to LOVE system of a down. i bought all their albums and all that jazz...but then i took a step back...and realized that yes, they are an amazing band with some really really really good songs...but half their stuff is blatant filler. just listen to "steal this album" its rediculous. and that's just -one- album.

You guys are listening to utter and epic crap if you're still with chop suey, though it's a nice song, listen to these epic masterpieces that blow your f***ing mind. Dreaming Mind (note that it starts off a little slow until about 1:00) Sugar Attack Soil Darts Violent Pornography (note that this song is as little dark, so if you get offended by a song talking about rape/violent pornography, go away) Ddevil (not a misspelling)
Those are a composition of my favorite SOAD songs, not including the obvious chop suey, BYOB, and lonely day. I'm not saying that those songs aren't fucking magnificent, but they're not the best. They do make it pretty high on the top ten though. The ones that are my personal favorites in that list would have to be "Dreaming" and "Attack" that both tie for 1.
Yeah its true. i used to think all their songs had to have some kinda of reasoning behind them but some of them are just nonsence
That's what makes them fun though, not all their songs are really deep. Some are just fun and you can listen to them without thinking too much. While others have a pretty deep message.
