This poll has run for several weeks, and it's time to freshen up with something rather different.

2 Tone was the style of music produced during the British Ska revival of the 1970s, which went onto influence Ska Punk of the 80s and 90s. Two of the foremost 2 Tone acts were:

This is not easy... both are great bands with a widespreaded influence.
But imo The Specials represent the fragmentation of the whole ska-scene in their songwriting better than nay other band of the o-tone era, so ill vote for:

don't know these bands but to twist things a little I am just going to vote for both bands!

*Sigh* I leave it for a whole month and only accrue a score of 1-1. I will post a new poll soon, but I'm too tired to think of a good one just now. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Call me commercial on this one, but I prefer Madness for this round. They have catchy songs that make you bump your head the second you hear them! Can't argue with that! =)

Kaiser Chiefs... Editors... They are both, more or less, the same for me, ill vote for the Chiefs, because i saw them live when the supported Green Day...^^

ProtoMartyr vs Future Of The Left... Ill go for ProtoMartyr, mainly for their live-performance (dont ask me why, but someone send me a tape (acceptable quality) from their gig at the SXSW festival)

My votes:

Kaiser Chiefs. Their music is less depressed, and I don't like the voice of the Editors vocalist.

Future of the Left. Protomartyrs music is nice, but their vocalist sounds... uninspired. The other band is much more energetic and their singer is... definitely inspired :P
