I don't really think Cell Phones are really cell phones anymore. They are more like mp3's that can call people. Recently, I saw a cell phone that couldn't call. Only text. Now they have been releasing "Touch phones". Yes, just like the DS or that other touch thing, it uses one of those touch screens.
What I think they need: Being able to call. Being able to save contacts. Being able to play snake. Being able to have funny ring tunes. That's all it needs!
mmmm... I like some of the new features on phones. Though often they are no where near enough to replace the real thing. If you compare a camera-phone to a camera (some of the latest camera-phones have alot of megapixels and should be comparable) they don;t stand up. They are useful never the less. Then there are the apps on the new apple phones. You can get a spirit level etc. which is kinda cool.
My brother just got a cell phone and its a touch one it's cool! I wish i have one but im still too young to have one. anyways, the touch phone can text,call,play games, and has ringtones
They're just different. 5 years ago a cell phone could only call, maybe do a few other things, but that's about it. Now they can do much more, advancements in technology. It will only not be a cell phone when it lacks the ability to call.
What's wrong with having a phone with a touch-screen feature? The technology is amazing, and because they don't have to focus on design for buttons and such, the company can instead focus on improving the quality of the phone's software. Sounds useful to me.

Nope, I wouldn't consider that a cell phone.
There are so many unnecessary features on phones, for example; the touch phone thing! Why do you need it?
That's just an opinion. We don't need cell phones at all, but it makes life more interesting. Sure, it doesn't need a touch screen, but it makes it more interesting. (among other things)
