one of the best games i have played i went and bought the GOTY edition and the guide just from what i have seen form bethesda its going to be hard to beat fallout 3 and Elder scrolls 4 oblivion oh and to get the best sword in the game go south from waterfront in the imperial city just west of the old bridge and there will be a ruin called vindasel it will have two deadroth's in front go into the ruins its a small place(very small) and there will be someone named Umbra she is a lv 20 and has a super powerfull sword kill her and take the sword it dose 28 damage with a lv 100 blade skill and it also has a soul trap enchantment that has a charge of 2500 and over 200 uses just be carefull she can kill you in less then 10 hits
It's a fantastic game, but only so for a few days. After about a week of playing, it gets pretty boring. However, the game does have many downfalls. For example, in Morrowind, there were lots of weapons that had great power and blah blah blah and you had to go on big dungeon raids to find them. Not in oblivion. Now all the stuff you get is random according to your level. There are basically no special items. There are a few, but about 90% of the gear is randomized. And the game become ridiculously difficult as advance in levels, so it may be necessary to either simply not level up, which is actually really cool in the later game, or just lower the difficulty bar.
