Sonny 2 I believe is rated a 9.7 on this site. Do you think any game will ever be rated a perfect 10? Personally, I don't think it will ever happen because so many people have such diverse tastes when it comes to games.
I think he means after several people rate it (like 100,000 people maybe) but thats true some have been a perfect overall rating but have not kept it that way.
Well, it has happened the way fst6 said, but no, there won't ever be a game that is perfect 10, because even if everyone loves it there is bound to be a missclick.
yeah its pretty much impossible unless its a new game and u are the first one to rate it or the game takes control of yur mind and forces everyone it sees to vote it a 10/10. but of course that will never happen.
If the rating is averaged correctly then for every half a mark below 10 that one person scores a game, there has to be about 100 people that vote a perfect 10. In this way the game is actually a 9.95 or so, but that would round up to 10.
So you can a perfect rating on the game, as far as sig figs are concerned, if you get the right proportion.
even if its the best flash game ever, and you'd tell the whole world to rate it a perfect 10, it couldn't attain a perfect ten..
think about it...
Plus, i'd rate a game 10/10 if it follows my critique:
GAMEPLAY 4/4= no repetition(+1 if im not bored with the game for more than 4 hours GRAPHICS 3/3= don't care if it's strange, as long as it fits the game's theme STORYLINE 3/3= must be a point in the game (what's the fun of killing if you don't know why you're doing it?)
lastly I give an extra +1 for originality...

No. Creating games is a science, but it is an art as well. there can never be a game that cannot be improved. And there will always be some psycho-jerk who gives games bad ratings because he/she is angry at the world for some immature reason.
