Well I have to say the most I've paid (for myself) was when my friends celebrated my 18th birthday in an authentic Japanese restaurant. I had a 6 ounce (fist sized) marble grade: 8 Waygu beef, some blue fin tuna sashimi (cut and chilled raw fish sushi) and a bowl of abalone (Pronunciation: a-baloni) soup.

Waygu (kobe) Beef (140 dollars)
Blue fin (10-pieces) (97 dollars)
Abalone soup (43 dollars)

280 dollars
1,910 yuan
210 euros
184 pounds(British currency)

totally worth it, can't say you'll have a better 18th birthday, unless you eat some endangered animals (blue fin)

Name some of the most expensive meals you've had, was it good? how much was it? be nice and convert the currency just to be nice.

I don't pay for food when I eat with my family. The most I've paid for food while with friends though was.... $20? We bought a lot of junk food from Safe-Way because we were having a party.
