A suggest to the mods and admins:

I suggest cleaning up all of the forums by deleting all of the old locked posts. This way would wouldn't have pages and pages of old posts taking up precious space.

I also think deleting unactive accounts would be a nice idea as well. This way we would actually know our true rating, and not some high rating that we really aren't.

To the rest of AG:

Your thoughts? Do you agree with this or not? Please keep it clean!

But then there wold be no way of noing if a thread has been made already ir not and (possibly) lokced because it was rubbish etc. Then again it would get rid of some Zombie threads if they deleted the unlocked ones as well.

Again... But what if someone wamted to return after being absent for a long time. ther may be alot of ghost accounts but we don;t know if they are or not.

deleting old threads has been suggested b4 and the problem is the post count for users go away if the topic is deleted, so many people's AP would drop drastically

idk why they can't just check if a users been on in the past 6 months and delete 'em

ready for a debate about ghosties?

That's basically why we don't do that.
Also, reading old threads can be fun.

For now we just lock them when they're necro'd for no good reason, and it seems to work. It's also less troublesome than going through the threads and deleting all of them.

I can't really say anything about the ghost account issue, but I agree that it's kind of stupid that they are just sort of there...

I agree COMPLETELY on old threads being deleted.

Ghost accounts, not so much. I think it will cause WEB SITE WIDE PANIC.

Plus old threads are like time capsules.

I would just delete the pointless ones, not the ones that have been here a long time and
seemed to have been a good enough thread. If they were pointless from the start, then they
should be deleted on the spot, no questions asked. Duplicates included, keep the first
one going as an example.
