Untrue, if Wolverine cut off Eddie Brock's head even while he was covered by the symbiote Venom, Venom could save Brock, and to think that after the suit sucks up off of Brocks corpse and tries to get away, that Wolvie wouldn't be able to light up a cigar and burn that sucker alive is just farcical.

Although Wolverine would obviously annihilate Venom, I agree with this statement. However, Carnage is the coolest symbiote in my opinion, but if you only know Venom by the Spiderman movies you probably don't know who Carnage is so I'm waisting my breath.
Now a fight between Venom and Carnage would be a real toss up.

I would win. Venom would go down, then I'd kill Wolverine to erase evidence of me ever making a matchup liker this. Then, I would commit suicide for thinking of such a nerdgasm idea. ----------- Just teasing =p though I think that Venom would lose hard, because Wolverine is VERY hard to kill, and has an advantage with the sharp objects at hand.
Wolverine easy. Venom has webs, but he has sharp claws or w/e coming out of his hands. He could just cut through them and kill Venom. Also, it's spelled "win" not "when".
