I play it from time to time when I go over to my friends house. My computer won't play it because the DVD part of my CD drive broke years ago, and Dell wouldn't help me out without charging me a million dollars.
Ya I agree, once you get to the space age it gets too repetitive and confusing. It seems like you spend all your time just finding these random planets, then during your off time you have to go save some random planet from attack. Just a bit too hard once you get there I think.

Fun? Yes, it does look fun. You get to equip your Spore creature with deadly space weapons! It's totaly worth the thirty bucks. The creepy and Cute pack should have been free like the insect appendages, or atleast just ten dollars. I thought twenty was too much.
I actually really enjoyed spore. For a game it was distinctly innovative, and had thousands upon thousands of distinctly different ways of evolving from a single celled organism into a sentient multi galaxy space faring species.
