Well, i saw at a topic to not flame. What is that? Is it like spamming. If yes or no, just try to precisely tell me. Here's the topic: [url=http://armorgames.com/community/thread/3425986/favorite-type-of-music/page/1]

I'm pretty sure its meaning like insulting the comment or saying something bad about a comment that someone else made.

Thanks!

Wikipedia article about flaming. In case you want the more -- seriously written version. Even though it's on a wiki...

Answered thread, then?

Not quite! Well, unless it's in that wiki link...

Trolls! They flame others for the only purpose of watching them get mad and flame back. Kind
of a connection there. Just as another reminder, don't fight fire with fire, if you catch my drift.

Well...

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.
~Wikipedia

The bolded is the part of trolling that refers to flaming. Being a troll does not equal being a flamer, though they're not mutually exclusive.
Effective trolls don't flame, they make others flame each other.

It's chaos! Flaming = inflammatory = fire = firefighters = the last word had the words 'fight' in it = brawling = flaming = inflammatory fight. Now, the equation simplified:

flaming = bad.

Hope there weren't too many variables. . . .

could mean 3 things.

1) that person is gay
2) that person/thing is on fire
3) a comment that is an undisguised derogatory and/or racist comment, posted within a forum or messenger.

not everything on wiki is true, though most of that is correct...

i'd have to agree with DDX, it could mean someone is burning alive
