How do you make a link that doesn't actually say the URL?

Pretty simple.

1. paste the url, like http://www.google.com

2. put at the end

your results: [url=http://www.google.com]

3. afterwards, put what you want to say after the boxed text, followed by a
. you
will get what you want afterwards.

your results: This is not google.

4. Have fun making good links!

....and before you guys laugh, here's what you're REALLY supposed to do.

1. [url=link ]

2. text afterwards

3. [/url ]

4. take out the spaces


So if you don't do it correctly, my first post is what you might get. That was merely an
example to show you if you got it wrong :P

An easier method....

1) Highlight the word/words that you want to turn into a link.

2) Press link.

3) Copy and paste the link into the box that appears.

4) Sit back and look at the results.

Examples:

Yahoo

Or

http://www.yahoo.com/

Note: If your computer does not allow scripted windows, just click the option of temporarily allowing them.
