Anyway I was thinking, the mods could create and sticky a thread called: I NEED a MOD!
and people could post links to spam, and such on that thread. So mods can check on it regularly, and after they accomplish their goal they can delete the post, so no one would know better. It might help a lot because sometimes, there is an urgent issue, such as a huge flame war going on right now and I can't seem to find the proper mods on.
Although they don't answer it right away, the problem, such as threads, people, trolls, do get solved eventually. You just gotta catch the right mod if you want it taken care of faster, such as grabbing one that has a green button on. For them to delete the post, the sticky should be in the NC's forum so no one would complain.
You know, it's kinda funny. The one time when no mods are on, there are 2 duplicate trolls flaming each other in a religion thread. What is the world coming to....
Yep, this so far seems to be the best way to get things done quickly. Just let us know on our profiles, and we will go and take care of it as soon as we sign on next.

oh my goodness... that was soo horrible... which is why I proposed this. Thanks carlie for explaining.
Also I bad thing on the thread would be that the people being snitched on would be able to see and t could start even more flaming and/or trolling.
It is more open but the mods' profiles are harldy private flamers/trolls etc. can just look on there.
If you post a complaint/request on one mods profile though surely you have to wait for that mod to see it or hope another mod reads that profile. Maybe a more communal thread would make the process faster as the first mod on would see it.
couldn't the mods make it so that no one else except mods could see this thread? and in conjunction with a preview button, you could know how it will look like when you post it.
I NEED AN ADULT! I'M BEING RA..........Wait.......Never mind.
But I do like this diea. I mean, A mod could look, take care of, then go back and delete the comment. Would be very handy, but I do suppose profiles work....But with out the recently active feature it is hard to find a mod that has been one recently.

How would you be able to locate and report someone if you couldn't see the thread to begin with?

The button is still there. If it's green, it means that the mod is on or was on in the past few minutes. I usually find the ones that are on ; they have the highest chance of finding my threads/users that I post there.

what do you mean?
I was a bit tired but, I meant that Only mods see the posts this "report thread" you just type stuff into the reply box, with the link to the problem. Once you post your comment, you cant see it anymore. and the mods take to the comment, and finish the business.
That would mean you could technically only post one comment XD
oh gees, I meant to say you will not see you comment, as it will be blanked out, instead of your armatar and name appearing it will just be a time stamp or something (so you know you posted).
I can't think of anything anymore, so I guess it's all taken care of. If this thread can be as "hidden" as possible, I guess this would be faster than messaging the mods. Almost as hidden as the mods not knowing which user reported what, and that means members too. Just like the flag button! =P
Maybe we should just initialize SHOPS again? It used to be a good account to report in, but it's not used very much anymore.

well since strawpony explained the flag button I think it is kind of flawed. It requires 3? or so flags from different users? or IP address? and then it is deleted. or something. I think that the mods will be more effective then us flagging stuff :|
