It's ridiculous, because every 2nd post is "Please don't do X"

But if they did place a child limit per family people would still have them in secret, they have them hidden and whatnot. If you've read the Shadow Children series, you know what I'm talking about.

I got a law for ya. Have a child limit of 2 and if you have a 3rd then that kid takes your spot on the planet, I think that would get people to think twice. Or after 2 kids it's mandatory to get fixed.

But seriously the world really does need a baby ban of some sort.

But if a kid dies then you can't get unfixed easily.

Humans aren't supposed to live to 70,80,90 years old our life cycle is screwed up by these good living conditions and medical care. But I don't think halting new development is a good option even if it is one of the easiest.

now some christian is going to come along and say, wait a minute didn't people used to live to 800 years old? and then some skeptic like me will bash the bible and this will turn into a religious argument.

It is a mess for many reasons. Heres a few

1.Nixon wanted to make food cost less, took cows off farm, paid farmers to grow mono crop farms of soy and corn more than those crops are worth, cows went onto large industrial complexes, we call them farms, they are injected with antibiotics that could be used for people, this creates super-bugs, and their waste is disposed of in streams, this causes there to be so much nitrogen in the water that the water flora grows out of control, taking all of the oxygen in the water and choking out the other life there. We took something that was naturally good, i.e. fertilizing our crops with cow crap, and made two to four new problems out of it.

2.Using nitrogen based fertilizers we have been able to make so much food that the earth now has a population of people that is about 3 billion more than the earth can naturally support.

3.We've been complacent to use the same types of technologies for way too long thus causing all sorts of environmental problems.

In summation, until the human race understands that due to our intelligence, we are the stewards of the earth, it will be a mess here.

So because of growing to much food we're killing the Earth??
