It depends. Felicity is faster so if you are slower (unless you are a speed biological), she will be helpful. However, if you opting for more direct damage, Roald will be useful with his strength attacks.

Uh, Felicity actually has more strength than Roald. He's vitality-based. It's all about the skills they use.

I think Roald is better though. That damage reduction thing is too cool, and too necessary.

When you have Felicity and you put her up in fight, they will disintegrate Felicity in one turn, forget about her.

yeah felicity sucks. everything about her is bad. every thing about roald is good. there, that was easy.

Only thing felicity is useful for is extra inventory slots.

Yeah, DS on felic and give her a few pieces of the android set and she won't die all the time... I still like Roald more though...

No one in their right mind would ever use Felicity in her starting gear. 1300 HP doesn't cut it, obviously. You're supposed to give her some armor that has +vitality so she can survive.
