I recently discovered that if you throw a level 6 gem at a shrine, you get 200 experience points at the end of the level. I did this at a two different shrines in one level, and got the bonus twice. Is there a list somewhere showing every thing you can do to get points, and how many points you get? I know you get more points blowing up every building on a level, than you do for not using gem bombs. You get a bonus if you have 2000, 4000, or 6000 mana left at the end of a level. You get a bonus for no tower, no traps, calling all swarms just before they would come out anyway, and crafting at least one level 7 gem.
On the early levels when I use a level 6 gem on a shrine, it does the explosion thing around the screen, but I get no bonus for it at all. Only later on does the bonus appear. I also note that some things give different bonuses at different levels, even those close to one another.
there's a bonus for crafing a grade 9 gem, for finding lost amulets (some levels some modes only), for killing 50-150-300 monsters in a row (my current game has a 440 row in middle of 50-60 waves), for summoning 50-100-200 monsters in a game by gem bombing wavestones (anger), for throwing level 6 gems against shrines (if there are any on a level), and some journey amulets that are given for creating a total of stuff or beating a total of stuff, that's all. About points - I don't think there is something, but you can create such a list yourself. What I have discovered is here.
Summoning - 50/100/200 Calling early - 40/80/120 Having lots of mana at the end - ?/?/200 Creating big grade gems - 100/200/300 Killing monsters in a row - 50/100/200 No traps - 100 No towers - 150 No buildings left - 200 No gem bombs - 50
About sacrificing grade 6 gems for bonuses - the gem must be pure to receive the bonus.
I finished a list yesterday http://z8.invisionfree.com/Game_Maker_forum/index.php?showtopic=3025&st=0&#last along with some other information. I just assumed the creators would have that information listed somewhere already, and it'd be more complete.
I see the newest version list that information in the Amulets section, and when you get one at the end of each level, during scoring, it list it there, instead of just having some numbers that fly off and fade away before you can take it all in. Before I can anyway, having a low attention span, and an insane fear of floating fading numbers.
