I can't really see the terrorist's reason in killing yourself and other people for your country will bring you to heaven... Peace makes much more sense. And seriously. Being a greedy, violent person to get the virgins, God will think that that is good and reward you? That's stupid.
The reason the U.S. is fighting terrorism is because they recognized Israel as a country and ally. The muslums and the israelites have been fighting since way ago, so the terrorists became angry. Also, they hate the U.S. because we don't mix politics with religeon. I can see where they are coming from, but I don't agree what they are doing.

actually most of the mercenaries for hire are proud of the number of people they kill, I believe they give out merit badges on how many wars fought, enemies killed, planes shot down. ect.
