This thread is to have a friendly, non-flaming debate about abortion. Are you Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?
Pro-Life= There is no choice in abortion. Which means the baby lives, period.
Pro-Choice= You always have the option to choose to abort the baby.
And please follow these rules:

- Do not use any form of anything that supports your side, while HURTING the other sides' opinion. |I.E| A baby has a heart beat, hair, fingernails. That is basically saying the other side is committing murder. So, please, don't use such information.
- Don't try to convert* anyone to your side.
* Basically, just say why you think what you think and why you don't think what the other thinks. Don't go "That is evil or not-right, please, go to Pro-[whatever]".
Ok, enough with the rules now. What I think about abortion is you should have a choice. Because not all babies have come from the person the mother wanted he/she from. Or the baby came by force [rape] and is unwanted. Or if the mother is young, because then if she had no choice she would be in danger herself. And the risk of losing two young lives does out weight the gaining of just one. But that's my opinion, now tell me what YOU think!
I'm pro-choice. I believe that a women has every right to do whatever she wants with her (not the government's) body. It's also wrong to say that she can't have an abortion if having the child will result in her death. And in rape cases. Sure, when people are just using it as birth control, that's questionable, but in most cases abortion is not wrong in my opinion.
Look, you are preventing life. Isn't that murder enough? God made that baby, it's not your right to intrude upon the baby's rights.

That would be one specific group of people...the environmentalists who happen to also be liberal and communist supporters. Not many people happen to be that. You don't need the tree hugging and commie part. It was only meant to insult as I'm sure you weren't talking about that specific group of people.

Sure, theologically it doesn't sound right, but when you weigh all the different things that go into the decision it becomes much more appealing. Sometimes people just can't support the child. What about in cases of rape? It's not the womens fault that she was raped, so why should she have to give up her life for that child. At the time of abortion the baby doesn't really know what is going on in most cases. (Unless you do it late in pregnancy, which I believe in wrong).
We were discussing this in my sexual education class the other day, and the teacher made a good point. It's very easy to go against abortion until you are faced with an unplanned pregnancy. Then it becomes an option that is very reasonable.
I'm Pro-Life. I feel abortion is against God's plan for us. I also believe that abortion would be an option IF the mother was in severe danger is dying.
God's plan probably doesn't have "R*PE" on the agenda (non-consensual sex) (consensual= not agreeing.)

Hmm, really? I agree with abortions if the mother will die or be seriously injured, or if the fetus will die. I tolerate abortions if the fetus will be deformed or retarded, or if the mother was raped. I do not tolerate or agree with any other abortions. If that's how all pro-choice people feel, guess we're not so different after all.
