Many of you may not notice, but right now AG is spewing out a lot of tracking cookies (mostly coming from advertisements). If you go from one site to another, possibility is that it would send 2-3 tracking cookies. Imagine how many times it would send it to you if you kept jumping from one site to another.

My AVG detects these as potentially dangerous items (which I highly doubt, besides, why would you guys do that anyways?). But its really annoying. I cant block cookies or I wont be able to log in. as for now im receiving a lot of them, and just this hour, i've already received around 15.

Why so many cookies? Am I just exaggerating or am i right? Cause my AVG keeps sending out warnings everytime I jump from one site of AG to another...

I'm not really sure about the cookies. But personally I haven't received any. If I do, I'll just wipe those little buggers off with anti-virus. Are your security settings set to a high level?

I strongly suggest you use NoScript. It's freeware, and highly affective.

That, and Adblock Plus.

I just clear all the ad cookies, but sometimes cookies are helpful as they store data about the site. I just goto prefences and do show cookies and delete the ones with "ad" in front of their names.
