Ok...I'm sick and tired of seeing a ton of bands from back b4 I was even born. True some of them may be the greatest of all time, but it all gets kinda old..older than it already is! I mean no offense to the original creator of the Battle of the Bands thread. Actually he's a pretty cool dude. But I'd like to see some new bands out there so I'm creating a now vs. then Battle which will pit newer bands/artists against older bands/artists. To Make it a little different from the other two threads, a band/artist must receive 20 votes before being declared the winner, however if at any point, when I update the thread, a band/artist has at least 6 votes more than the other band/artist, they will be declared the winner. got it? alright we'll start off with:
Tough I hate the killers but I don't really know The Eagles much. But hotel california is quite good so I will go for The Eagles. I hate that "soul soldiers" song by the killers.... "I got soul but I'm not a soldier" they might as well just ding "I got ham but I'm not a hamster" lol
Goin' for the Eagles of course, love their song "Desperado", "Already Gone", "The Disco Strangler", "Visions", and "Witchy Woman", lots more but I'd probably bore everybody by listing them all. Plus they have Joe Walsh, one of the best guitarists and songwriters alive!
i've only heard hotel california, which is alright, but not my style. Killers for the win! love the guitar part in "Losing Touch" and "When You Were Young."
definetly the Eagles. The guitar is of better quality and they are just simply better. Gotta love the classic "Hotel California" and also "Life In the Fast Lane"
