I always find that sites are really a low quality whenever they have ads when you are trying to rake extra money from the dusty corners and put in ads when browsing between pages. It is simply the most obnoxious thing, I mean is it not enough that there are ads on every page.

I haven't noticed that here though except when going on your profile. But surely having lots of ads shows high quality since people want to advertise on your site and you get more money to make it a quality site. Anyway I'd prefer ads than to have to pay for coming on here. And ad complaints are a duplicate thread.

A thing that annoy me even more is people who does not read the common suggestion thread before complaining about something:

Miscellaneous
1. Flash videos
2. ArmorFilms - animations
3. Remove the ads

Pixie, do you really think we would have to pay to come here if there were no in between pages ads,

and Cenere, the more members complain the more disgruntled the moderators see we are

Ok no they wouldn't but I was talking about ads in general. If they got rid of ads between pages they would have to put in more ads somewhere else.

Oh no I don't mind adds in general, and where ever else they would have to put ads would be probably better

Well, the adverts in between the pages are relatively new..the site needs the ad revenue after all, since it is free.

Looks like it isn't explicit enough....The ads are fine...otherwise how do you think AG makes money to run the site for all of us ungrateful users?

I've seen these ads, not very much, but a few times. I think that it's mostly just when you log in, at least for me. I'd rather have the ads somewhere else though, it's annoying having that ad there. At least you can skip past it though.

Nicodemus I bet their revenues are fine just having ads on every page

high quality since people want to advertise on your site and you get more money to make it a quality site.

Then they are sponsors. I think Pixie is right because it doesn't look like Armorgames uses much of Google Ad.

I don't get ads between pages.

Only if people go to that page, or click the link.

you wouldn't know. You're obviously not someone who works with websites.

It's not much of a problem, and it just pisses off the mdos and encourages them to shut out an idea even more. What you're doing isn't helping WHATSOEVER. Don't delude yourself.

Pissing off the mods?

we have some pretty pricky mods then, I just said one thing I want, and really I actually logged on got two ads like that, made this thread and then stopped experiencing them

I don't think you understand just how common this suggestion is. The mods are patient people, really. But they made a stickied thread listing the common suggestions for a reason. And the site needs the revenue from the ads- they aren't an issue.

although ads are good for the site, i just hate how much tracking cookies it sends to the computer... and i personally think it lessens internet speed.

yet without ads, this website might never run...so you either live with it or you loose the site, what's your choice?

I see a good amount of ads but I don't see where the problem is.
