yup thats the one.

I found the food I was talking about

Roast Beef with Wild Mushroom Sauce and Caramelized-Shallot Mashed Potatoes

the mushroom sauce is made with a blend of Japanese morels and chanterelle mushrooms. fudge yes best dish ever.

the beef is cooked with fresh minced thyme, garlic cloves, olive oil, the beef itself is a tenderloin, oven roasted. There is absolutely nothing better.

Roast beef = nice savory core element, + wild mushroom sauce to compliment it, + a solid starchy element from the mashed potatoes, + caramelized shallots for the unique flavor that comes from caramelzed shallots = one kickass dish. My mouth is watering. . . .

And the thyme is a perfect fit for the beef, and the olive oil would lend a nice flavor to the beef on top of the garlic tinge. . . .

ZOMG. I NEED TO EAT THAT DISH, NAO.

Yep. Huh. It looks like we've been talking about high end food consistently and maniacally for the last two pages. . .oh the culinary pedantry.

Rosemary is also a good fit for beef, especially if used in a marinade along with au jus, but thyme ids the ultimate seasoning for most beef.

1) I'll take your donner and raise you a gyros. Peloponnesian style is the best, ie. full of chips.

2) Curry. Specifically lamb dhansak. Perfect way to start the night.

3) Pulpo a la Gallega, Arroz con Gandules, pastellios (con pulpo).

4) Revenge. Served cold.

5) Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki. One of the few fish dished that appeal to my taste buds.

lol.. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

This is quite good, reminds me a lot of american style pancakes, so I do have the urge to lather it in syrup.
