The joke in St louis is that there is a community college called "Merrimac" and when people say they're going to MIT, they eventually go "you know Merrimac In Town"
but no really epic rejection from MIT... I sent in my apps, and 2 weeks before they're actually supposed to go out... I get my rejection letter... *crys*
Well, since it's been asked, I'm finishing an MBBS with the University of Melbourne (ranked in the top 20 internationally...though behind Harvard, Yale and Cambridge, since they, like, occupy the top three spots...T_T)
I can't really comment because as it goes worldwide, the medical courses tend to be an entire world apart from the rest of the institution. But I like what I'm doing.
