I just made a thread about which cod i should get.... Cod 2 vs Cod 3 Man, call of duty 2 waz ONE OF THE BEST VIDEO GAME EXPIERIENCES I AM HAVING TO DATE. Such interesting story line and amazing graphics at the time. And its not like a run and gun game, you will spend sometimes an our on one level just tryn to get through. And this waz on hard, not veteran! However, i did want to control a viechle more often and have more kind of missions. Also, if they made something from the perspective as another story, it would be incredible. But 27 loooong missions are incredible. Im still up to the british- african compaign.
This game could have been the best game on xbox ever.... if it waznt for the let down multiplayer. The game just doesnt deliver. Only 8 players per game! although it waz just made when the console waz coming out, it still should have had a better multiplayer and more people. It could have been more like cod 3s multiplayer with the type of soldier you are. Also, more modes and viechles in multiplayer could have enhanced it. Of coarse, it would be cool if you were able to turn off the viechles.
Ive played cod1 before a few times and the campaign and multiplayer waz amazing. It also had the viechles i crave in the multiplayer. still, i perfur cod2
Both were incredible games. The campaign in both were better than cod 4 nd 5. But the multiplayer is where many like theyre games in.
I dont know, im just one of the only players that luv the old cod 1 and 2 the most.
I have very fond memories of clan matches in CoD1 on the PC. That, and custom jump maps were always fun (and usually far too difficult, quickly culminating into a deathmatch). CoD1 UO was great too, but I didn't care for the vehicle aspect, as it seemed too much like BF1942 then.
I tried CoD2 for a while, but they decided to change a lot of the old levels, change a lot of the guns, and seemed like a rehash, rather than anew.
Solid series though - I'd still LAN CoD1 if I had any friends who still wanted to play...
