What I am asking is, do you as a person feel safe in your country, home, world? Do you feel safe with all the conflict and disorder around you? From the Swine flue to the War on Terrorisim, do you feel safe?
Now I'm not saying, everyone should be going crazy and scared out of thier witts, but I am mearly asking, do you feel safe? Have you ever looked at the world and the major events?
Sure this happens day in and day out, but you as a person continues to live your life, worried about the next school dance or some hot chick that turned out to be guy.....
And I'm not saying thinking about any of that is wrong except for the last one, but is thier a day where the world seems to be heading for a major conflict? With the econemy sloping, and wars being fought over trible stuff, is the world really safe?
Back in the day in Lodon, we had soem bad boys for real. Wasn't about knives or guns, so much as knowing what to do with your hands. those boys could really rack. My father, had me on the straight. But like any young man, I wanted to be hard too. So I'd turn up at the house parties where all the tough boys hung. Sheet they knew I wasn't one of them. Them hard kids would come up to me and say ''go home school boy, you don't belong here''. Didn't realise at the time what they were doing for me. Rough as that neighbourhood could be. But we had us a community. Nobody no victim, who didn't matter. But now all we got is bodies and predatory mother****es who rip and run. Other day, walked past a crime scene, where some 14 year old kid was shot and stabbed to death. Local kids running round playing guns+knives, glorifying that s***. Makes me sick how far we've fallen as a society.

Anyway i kinda agree whatever happened to the community where everyone knew and looked out for each other and hell back then even the government was actually trying take care of its citizens. The world has been corrupted by idiots and corrupt politicians.
sometimes, i go outside and look up and wonder if nuclear missiles are about to rain down on me. sometimes, i wonder if the calderra underneath yellow stone will suddenly explode. there are so many different catastrophies that could happen randomly and terrible things going on, but everyday they never do. i can just hope that tomorrow will be the same.
and i just hope that i will be warned in time when i go outside and see a thousand waterfalls from the melting polar ice caps come crashing over me...

If we do it won't be entirely Bush's fault. I didn't think Bush was a great president, but a president on his own really doesn't have a ton of power. There's a system of checks and balances, anything that Bush signed that would help us go bankrupt was put into action by many people, along with Bush.

Couldn't agree more. Plus, my science teacher actually told me that the swine flu is the same as the regular flu. The only reason people died from it was because they had a weak immunte system (according to her, anyway). But you know how it is. When there's something less important to be worried about, it's top news

Yup, that's right. There have been three deaths in the United States the last time I checked, two were people who already had health problems and the other was a two year old. If you're healthy you don't really have anything to worry about.

I feel like our world and my community is pretty safe, and there isn't much need to worry over everything. I just try to think of things as probabilities, and the probabilities of bad things happening, and that how I avoid dangerous situations.
One thing that is slightly worrying is that H1N1 will mutate again, and this next time it will be a global pandemic, and basically only the people who have gotten the first one will survive from built immunities, while the rest of the world will drop like fly's.
