theres this great one about a man that disappeared in a spanish fort here in puerto rico it is called the garrita of the devil ( look out point of the devil).
I know a Vence island Poveglia. There in 1922, a mental hospital was built. Local lore states that a particular mental health doctor tortured and killed many of the patients, before being thrown to his death from a bell tower.[citation needed] According to that same legend, he survived the fall, but was 'strangled by a mist that came up from the ground. (I know this, because i have read it on a tourist guide.)
