Note: This is unofficial, which means the AG staff has nothing to do with this, it's all created by me.

Community members have a chance to nominate great games to be featured, (unofficially of course) into the hall of fame of Players' Pick. Categories will be diverse, such as "Best overall Game", "Best Graphic Game" and so on. There will be a form to fill out, if you do want to nominate a said game, which can be briefly typed out and posted. It's imperative that you fill out ALL of this short form for your nomination to be counted.

The nomination process is simple. A game needs 3 nominations from members to be eligible to be picked for the category it was nominated for. Until 3 nominations for that one game are posted, it will not be picked. There will be a deadline for players to nominate games, and when the deadline is over, the nominated games with at least 3 votes will be posted and you get to vote which one should be picked for the category it was nominated for. A few days later, the game with the most votes will be Players' Pick, for that said category.

I'm sure there is going to be confusion with these rules and regulations, but that's normal. Please post here with a question, concern, or general feedback or comment on my profile. I'm frequently on the forum so I will answer within an hour at the least.

Without further ado, the Categories for the Players' Pick #1 in no particular order are:

Best Overall Game (Games can not be nominated into this category)
Best Graphics/Music Game
Most Entertaining Game
Most Challenging Game
Other

If you are wondering about the category for best overall game, the game that gets into this category will be the one with the most nominations in the other categories put together, period. Once again, you can not nominate a game for the best overall game category.

I would like to add a few side notes to the mix... as stated earlier, this is NOT official. It is created by me and, unless a staff member offers to help, will stay like that.

For the moderators, I had speculation on where I should post this, and finally decided The Tavern. Since this thread isn't official, I don't believe it should be in the S&S forum, but if it should, I would greatly appreciate it if you moved it.

If you're confused, again, just post with a question or post a comment on my profile. I'll be glad to help.

After we get situated and everyone understands, the nominating will begin. The deadline will be a month after the nominating starts.

Also, if you created the game you are going to nominate, it's alright. Self-nomination is completely fair.

You can only nominate once for a category, but you can nominate a game once for a different category.

If you got to do it multiple times for the same category, it would be unfair.

Nice nomination BTW, I liked that game a lot.

You have to fill it out otherwise it doesn't count.

If you don't, when I'm scanning this thread for nominations, I will only be looking at posts with the form in them, and I won't see yours.

Also, the deadline for nominations is June 24.

hmm alrighty then Nominations:

Best Graphics/Music Game: Warfare 1917(Sounds effects are amazing, as well as the graphics with all the explosions)

Most Entertaining Game:Sonny 2(Entertaining is a very broad term so I went with the one I had the most fun with)

Most Challenging Game:Gemcraft:chapter 0(challenging your endurance to play it)

Best Graphics/Music Game: Warfare1917 gets it just for the atmosphere. The mortar fire is great and sounds very cool and the graphics are suitably dingy which helps to make it sort of real.
Most Entertaining Game: bubble tanks 2. It is very fun to play because it is a very simple idea done well. It has a nice balance of difficulty and a nice bit of strategy thrown in.
Most Challenging Game: The game I struggled with the most was Achievement Unlocked. It was very fun but there was always a few I couldn't do no matter what
