Universalist Unitarians are followers of a realiogion that celebrates all religions, and are great for people who are trying to find a religion.

If you would like to know more or talk about it, here is the place.

O_O *blinks

You're UU? Holy watermelons! I didn't expect another UU on AG. As you might've guessed, I'm UU too.

I might define it deferentely though. Something more like:

"Unitarian Universalism is an open-minded religion that encourages you to seek your own spiritual path. It draws on many religious traditions, welcomes people with different beleifs, and is united by shared values, not creed."
-Taken in part from the UUA website.

UUism isn't about one church taking from other religions. You don't have to take from other religions at all. It is individual really. You can get a huge span of beleifs in a single UU church. Beleifs are individual. Values are shared.

Like for example... our paster is an atheist. Kinda weird huh?

My name is sunnyb.

Hmmmmmmm. I'll have to think about that. I'll get back to you. On your profile.

Hey, maybe you could put all the stuff you keep adding into one post? Not to nitpick, but it is a heck of a lot easier to read.

Thanks for the description sunnyb I was thinking that some religions contradict each other If everyone religious beliefs are indiviual then isn't everyone a non-practising UU lol.

Heheh, I guess that could be true. But in some religions you are sticking to a creed. And UUs tend to be scared of creeds. (as well as other religious words.) I guess you just choose to identify as a UU. UUs are mucho about tolerance, so someone who thinks we're all going to burn in hell because we aren't Christian and tries to convert us wouldn't really count as a UU.

yes i do and yeah i suppose you can be a agnostic and believe in god but being a jewish christian agnostic just makes no sense there's just way too many conflicting beliefs and you can't pick and choose what you wanna believe

um religion includes the worship of some sort of higher being or god so i don't understand that statement at all
