San Angelo Mayor J.W. Lown has resigned his position just after winning a 4th term to be with his boyfriend, an illegal immigrant from Mexico who has been attending the local University for several years. Mayor Lown says the city will always hold a special place in his heart and hopes to return with his lover to the city one day. Before leaving, he purchased 2,000 stamps and stationary to write the citizens who voted for his 4th term.
